Meet Jacqui – Your Airbnb Hosting Guide

Hi, I’m Jacqui, founder of Host & Bloom. My journey began in 2015 when we transformed part of a small barn into a cosy, dog-friendly Airbnb for two. I wasn’t sure it would work, but Woodpeckers Cottage flourished, and so did my love for hosting.

I quickly became a Superhost, and in 2023 I joined Airbnb’s Superhost Ambassador programme. I have successfully co-hosted multiple properties, and in June 2025, I left my day job to support hosts full-time. Hosting on Airbnb has changed my life and now I help others do the same.

To date, I’ve supported over 400 new hosts to launch confidently on Airbnb, many through Airbnb’s own funding. I also work as a professional co-host, helping both new and experienced hosts grow, refine, and get the most from their listings.

With a background in executive support and office management, I bring calm, detail-focused guidance, and hands-on know-how to every host I work with. I believe great hosting is both an art and a science and with the right setup, pricing, and presentation, there’s so much potential waiting to bloom.
